The yin and yang of life: fragility of nature

I started painting in 2019, while recovering from a kidney surgery. My paintings are a combination of external and internal worlds, all related to nature. I typically start with a landscape (or cityscape), animals, or some other nature-related image I captured as a photo with the idea of rendering my perception of beauty and balance in the world. With what is left in the palette, I embark on an inner exploration of how that palette can turn upside-down and those pieces have been defined by a friend as "sideral". My internal flow of color composition yields a set of images that contrast with the photo-based nature depictions. There is plenty of hole-like images and explosion-like images. Those internally generated paintings intend to reflect on how fragile nature and our world are.
